- 1 can 16 oz refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 6 large eggs
- 1 tbsp butter for eggs
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or a mix of cheddar and mozzarella
- Optional toppings: chopped green onions crumbled bacon, or hot sauce
Preheat oven: Heat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare crust: Separate biscuits and press them into a greased 12-inch pizza pan or baking sheet, forming a crust. Bake 8–10 minutes until lightly golden.
Cook sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and crumbled. Remove sausage, leaving drippings in the pan.
Make gravy: Add butter to drippings. Once melted, whisk in flour and cook 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk, stirring until thickened. Season with salt and pepper. Return sausage to gravy and keep warm.
